This BMW X1 had the same issue and took me a while to figure out and it was just a loose pipe under the oil filter housing. Even though the bolt was tight but still loose so I thought of try a method where I’m sure a lot of #mechanics have tried. I had a spare square nut which was perfect and worked as a replacement of washer, now the pipe is fully secured. Yappy dappy dooo 😁
